            It was my great pleasure to photograph for Manet Community Health Center - Groundbreaking Ceremony at North Quincy on August 9, 2010.  It is a great way to kick off and celebrate the National Health Center Week (August 8-14).

            Manet Building Improvement Project made possible by the US Department of Health and Human Services HRSA, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Capital Improvement Program and City of Quincy, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

            Manet at North Quincy—Alteration and Renovation project: Groundbreaking Facts Phase One
            • Manet was awarded $719,140 from federal economic stimulus American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding for community health centers in June 2009.
            • Manet will install a new sprinkler system through the support of the City of Quincy, Community Development Block Grant, US Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Program.
            • Manet’s total Alternation and Renovation project cost at North Quincy is under 1 million dollars, with a budget gap to close.
            • Manet in North Quincy will grow 7-11 new examination rooms with complimentary nursing station, and patient education rooms.
            • Manet’s North Quincy Alternation and Renovation project will expand access for 1233 new patients over 4914 annual patient visits.
            • Manet’s expansion in North Quincy will create new construction jobs, retain and create local health center employment positions including: physician, front desk personnel, administrative support.
            • Manet to launch North Quincy Naming Opportunities in 2010.
